Dave McRoberts, explained that the Roadmaster® was proving better and cheaper than the previous system. "We have been testing it out since April and so far the results have been very successful. Some of the roads that we would normally have patched before surface dressing have been treated by the Roadmaster in a fraction of the time. The costs are also shaping up well and so far the Roadmaster® has cost approximately 25% to 30% of conventional patching, which is a massive saving in time and money. The operation consists of cleaning the pothole by compressed air and spraying the material into the hole under pressure. The area is then dressed off to leave an area similar to surface dressing. It is particularly good for localised crazed areas of road and can patch approximately 100 / 150 sq. m per hour of this type of repair." |

"I confirm that Archway Products Ltd are on our Approved list of Sub-Contractors and Material Suppliers, they have proved to be extremely reliable, efficient and produce a quality process. We have used the Archway Roadmaster® process on a number of Stirling Council roads over the summer of 2003. They have scored very highly on our Quality Assurance system and as such I have no hesitation in recommending this firm." |

Fife Council Dr Bob McLellan Neil Young 0044 1334 412054 |
"Your Roadmaster® Velocity Patching System has been used in the East Area of Fife over the last two years during the summer months and I have received feedback from the Operations team regarding its performance and suitability. In summary experience to date suggests that your process has contributed to the general upkeep of our rural roads and has proved to be a useful system. In particular the system has successfully repaired many small potholes and assisted in arresting deterioration of small and large areas of crazing and rutting to 50sqm in area. Most of the work has been carried out in rural locations but any work carried out in semi-urban areas has also proved successful. In general the durability of the repairs has been good with very few repairs failing and further use of the system is likely." |

"I am fully familiar with the developments of the Roadmaster® apparatus since the early days of the construction of the original proto-type. Since that time I have experience of using the Roadmaster for road repairs in 3 different councils in the Republic of Ireland. The apparatus provides a low cost, high quality road patch, that has many advantages over and above other traditional repair methods." |
